Curiosity

Curiosity can drive us like no other. It eats away at us as if it was a parasite in our brain. We will go to extended actions in order to satisfy this desire. Just the simplest subject can cause us to wonder day and night, wanting to solve this self-important mystery. This can be a gift or a curse, to make our dreams come true or our nightmares a reality.
Curiosity is what made this world, if humans never experienced this feeling then we wouldn't be here. We would've never wondered what was over the hill, or what that substance tasted like. We would've just remained still, never unlocking our true potential. Technology wouldn't exist, delicacies never discovered, and never truly living life. This desire made our feet move, this desire influenced every square inch of our history, and this desire will determine our future like no other.
Alas, this marvelous gift is also our curse. It has caused such chaotic mess that it has even ended lives. With this desire to know, we tend to take risks and leap before looking. This causes a few problems and can inflict much pain. Even though curiosity can cause much harm, it is of the greatest importance. This curse is our greatest gift.
