Dreams

What is the purpose of dreams? Are they just there to try and make our lives better? Maybe they are just teasers, having such a great dream however never being able to grasp it. Many of us wish we could just extend those dreams a bit longer, experience just a few more seconds. My outlook is simple, dreams are a drug.
They make us lose all worries, making us think our dreams are better than reality. During the dream, we're only focused on what we're experiencing. As soon as we are at the best part, we awake. Then we get addicted, we crave for that blurry experience. All drugs have a draw-back though, depression is this one's. We want that simple happiness again, and no matter how hard we try, we tend not to get it. Rarely people can control their dreams, and if our reality is stressful then all we want is sleep.
However, maybe this infamous drug can be used in a better way. Let's edit it's structure and use it in another way. Let's make it our inspiration. Dream of being famous, receiving world recognition, and use that dream as your fuel throughout the day. Put in your mind that it is going to happen, and work to succeed. Change this drug, into our medicine. Change this dream, into reality.
